Starlink installation in Cork
Cork Security provides Starlink installation in Cork for a fixed fee of €350, including VAT. We mount and align the dish, run the cable neatly into the house and set up the Wi-Fi with a network name and password of your choice, so you are online before we leave.
Starlink installation in Cork, done properly
Starlink is satellite broadband that works almost anywhere with a clear view of the sky, which makes it the answer for many homes in rural Cork where fibre has not arrived and mobile broadband is patchy. The kit is simple to buy, but getting the dish high enough, clear of trees and fixed securely is a job for a ladder and the right brackets.
We survey the site with the Starlink app to find a clear view of the northern sky, fit the dish on a wall, gable, chimney or pole, and bring the cable inside through a sealed entry. The router goes where it covers the house best, and we test the speed before we leave.
What you get
- Dish mounted on a wall, gable, chimney or pole
- Clear sky checked with the Starlink app first
- Cable run neatly and sealed where it enters the house
- Wi-Fi name and password set to your choice
- Speed tested in the rooms you use
- One fixed fee of €350, including VAT
Larger installations
Big houses, farms and businesses: UniFi and remote support
One Starlink router is fine for most homes. For a large house, outbuildings, a yard or a business, we set Starlink up with a Ubiquiti UniFi router and access points instead, so every building gets strong Wi-Fi from one network.
We then add the network to the 1Install client portal for remote support. Larger installations are priced after a survey.

- The equipment we fitted, with warranties and service history
- Your UniFi network watched by our team, so we see if it drops offline
- Most problems fixed remotely, without waiting for a visit
- Support requests raised and tracked in one place
Starlink for Cork homes and businesses
Starlink suits the places fibre is slowest to reach: farms around Macroom and Millstreet, holiday homes on the Beara and Mizen peninsulas, and one off houses outside Bandon, Fermoy and Kanturk. It also works as a backup line for businesses that cannot afford to go offline.
We install the residential kit sold by Starlink, and for larger properties we add a Ubiquiti UniFi network so every building gets strong Wi-Fi.

Questions
Questions we are often asked
How much does Starlink installation cost in Cork?
A fixed fee of €350 including VAT. That covers mounting and aligning the dish, running the cable inside and setting up the Wi-Fi with your own network name and password.
Do I buy the Starlink kit myself?
Yes. You order the kit and choose your plan with Starlink, and we install it. If you are not sure which kit suits your property, ask us before you order.
Where will the dish go?
Wherever it gets the clearest view of the northern sky, usually high on a gable, wall or chimney, or on a pole for low houses and trees. We check with the Starlink app before we drill.
Can Starlink cover a big house, outbuildings or a business?
Yes. For larger installations we set it up with a UniFi router and access points and add it to our client portal, so we can support it remotely.
What is the 1Install client portal?
Your own secure login where the equipment we fitted is recorded. With a UniFi network on the portal, our team can see if anything goes offline and fix most problems remotely, often before you notice.
