CCTV installation in Cork

How we plan CCTV installation in Cork homes

Every camera has a job. We walk the property with you and decide what each one is for: faces at the front door, number plates at the gate, a wide view of the drive, the side passage and the back garden. Then we choose the lens and position to suit, so the detail is there when you need it.

Most Cork homes we survey need between four and eight cameras. We would rather fit fewer cameras in the right places than cover every wall. Cables run inside, through soffits or in duct, and cameras are colour matched where possible.

What you get

• Wired 4K cameras with lenses chosen for each view
• Alerts for people and vehicles only, in zones you choose
• Recording on a recorder in your home, kept for as long as you choose
• Live view and playback on your phone with secure login
• Privacy masking where a view crosses your boundary
• Cameras on your intercom screen, TV or 1Install touch screen

CCTV for Cork properties

Cork homes vary a lot. Period terraces in the city and Cobh need small, discreet cameras that suit the facade. Detached homes in Douglas, Rochestown and Ballincollig need a view of the gate and drive. Farms and country homes around Macroom, Fermoy and Kanturk need cameras on yards and sheds, sometimes linked back by wireless where cable is not practical. Coastal homes in Kinsale, Crosshaven and Youghal need weatherproof cameras and stainless fixings.

Home CCTV has to respect your neighbours and data protection law. We position and mask cameras to focus on your property and talk you through the Data Protection Commission guidance when a camera sees beyond your boundary.
