Dahua AirShield alarm installation in Cork, without the mess
AirShield is a fully wireless alarm, so it suits finished homes, period properties and rentals where nobody wants cables chased into plaster. The hub, keypad, detectors, door contacts and sirens all talk to each other by radio, and most homes are fitted in a day.
Dahua's Airfly wireless is two way and frequency hopping, with AES 128 encryption, so the hub always knows every device is there and the signal is hard to jam or copy. The hub reports over Ethernet, Wi-Fi or 4G depending on the model, and most detector batteries last for years.

Questions
Questions we are often asked
How much does Dahua AirShield alarm installation cost in Cork?
Our home alarms start from €700 including VAT. We price an AirShield system after the survey, once we know how many detectors, contacts and sirens your home needs.
Is a wireless AirShield alarm as secure as a wired one?
AirShield is certified to EN 50131 Grade 2, the standard grade for homes, and its radio is two way, frequency hopping and AES 128 encrypted, so it is hard to jam or copy.
How long do the batteries last?
Several years for most devices, depending on the device and how often it triggers. The app tells you when a battery is getting low, and we change batteries at the service visit.
Can AirShield send me a photo when the alarm goes off?
Yes. PIR camera detectors take a photo when they trigger and send it to your phone, so you can see straight away what set the alarm off.
Does AirShield work with Dahua cameras?
Yes. AirShield links with Dahua recorders and video intercoms, so an alarm can bring up the nearest camera. See our Dahua CCTV page.
