How we work
Our process for security systems in Cork
All the security systems we install in Cork follow the same five steps: survey, design, install, handover and aftercare. You deal with one team from the first visit to the yearly service.
Five steps
How we install security systems in Cork
Survey
An engineer visits, walks the property with you and listens. Where do you come and go, who needs access, what worries you, and what is already there. We check pillars, hinges, cable routes, broadband and mobile signal.
Design
We plan camera views, detector positions, gate motors and cable routes, then send a written, itemised quote. You can add or remove any line before you agree.
Install
Our own engineers fit the system, run cable in duct or inside the house, test everything and set it up on every phone in the house. Gates are set up to EN 12453.
Handover
We walk you through the system, show you the app, the manual release on the gate and how to set and unset the alarm, and leave the codes and documents with you.
Aftercare
Service visits from €175 a year keep gates and alarms in good order, and the same team is on the phone when you need help.
What happens next
Start with the guide prices to see where your project is likely to land, then look at the systems we install and check that we cover your area. When you are ready, book a survey.
Licensed
1Install, which trades as Cork Security, is licensed by the Private Security Authority. Gates are set up to EN 12453 at installation.
Questions
Questions we are often asked
How long does a survey take?
Usually under an hour for a home, longer for large properties or several systems.
How soon can you install?
We give you a date when you accept the quote. Simple alarm and camera jobs are usually quicker to schedule than new gates, which are made to measure.
Do you use subcontractors?
No. Our own engineers survey, install and service every system.
What if something goes wrong later?
Call us. The same team that installed the system looks after it.
