Security systems for homes in Macroom
Macroom sits on the main road from Cork to Kerry, with a busy town centre and a large rural hinterland of farms and one off houses. Long distances to the nearest neighbour and wide yards call for good camera coverage and dependable alerts.
We design CCTV that covers yards, gates and outbuildings as well as the house, fit alarms that alert your phone or a monitoring centre, and automate gates on long entrances.
Gates we automate in Macroom are set up to the European gate safety standard EN 12453, published in Ireland by the National Standards Authority of Ireland, with photocells and force testing.
Popular in Macroom

Questions
Questions we are often asked
Our yard is a long way from the house. How do cameras get back to the recorder?
Where we can, we run cable in duct. Where trenching is not practical we use point to point wireless links, which carry the camera signal over long distances reliably.
Is there mobile signal for alerts out here?
We check at the survey. Alarms can alert over broadband, mobile data or both, so there is a backup if one goes down.
What does a security system cost in Macroom?
The same guide prices apply across Cork: a home alarm from €700, four 4K cameras from €1,300 and gate automation from €1,800, including VAT. See the cost page for the full list.
Do you also cover Ovens, Ballincollig and Bandon?
Yes. We cover Macroom and the towns around it, including Ovens, Ballincollig, Bandon, and the rest of County Cork.
