Security systems for homes in Blarney
Blarney is a busy village with plenty of visitors, family homes in the estates around it and larger houses on the country roads beyond. Many homeowners want to see who is at the door or gate without opening it.
We fit video doorbells and gate intercoms that ring your phone, cameras that cover the front and rear of the house, and alarms with pet friendly detectors for family homes.
Gates we automate in Blarney are set up to the European gate safety standard EN 12453, published in Ireland by the National Standards Authority of Ireland, with photocells and force testing.

Questions we are often asked
We have a dog. Will it set the alarm off?
Not if the alarm is designed for it. We use pet tolerant detectors and position them so a dog moving around downstairs does not trigger the system.
Can I answer the door when I am not home?
Yes. A video doorbell or intercom rings your phone, so you can see and speak to the caller from anywhere.
What does a security system cost in Blarney?
The same guide prices apply across Cork: a home alarm from €700, four 4K cameras from €1,300 and gate automation from €1,800, including VAT. See the cost page for the full list.
Do you also cover Tower, Cork City and Glanmire?
Yes. We cover Blarney and the towns around it, including Tower, Cork City, Glanmire, and the rest of County Cork.
